The French government has requested JD-SW (09618.HK) (JD.US) to provide more information regarding its acquisition of German consumer electronics retailer Ceconomy, as Ceconomy holds around 22% equity in French electronics retailer Fnac Darty, according to foreign media reports.

JD-SW announced an offer to acquire Ceconomy at EUR4.6 per share in cash in July, valuing the retailer at around EUR2.2 billion.
